I have been working in my field for more than a decade. I have worked with many clients in helping to heal and recenter their lives in the world of fitness and nutrition. You can see some of my client testimonials here.

I am nationally accredited as a fitness and nutrition coach, as well as being specialized in pre and postnatal corrective exercise and yoga.
Every person is different, so every person’s experience is a bit different as well.
I always prefer to begin with a phone consultation to be sure that we are a good fit for each other. When we begin coaching, we start by setting goals together and creating a clear outline of the steps to achieve those goals. From here, we would meet weekly, this could include fitness training, mindfulness/ yoga practice, corrective exercise, and/or nutrition coaching. You would have a program of practices to do throughout the week as well (because, likely, we would need more than just the one hour a week to achieve goals and create strong behavior change). I am in contact during the week via email mainly for tips and accountability.

With measuring progress, it is a bit different for everyone's needs, for some people, I take physical measurements, or we are working on shaving time off their run or figuring out how to feel their best during and after a competitive experience. Some people are looking for behavior change with food and nutrition habits, those are tracked, mainly, by documents, strong communication, awareness, and mindfulness. Most people, we track symptom management and behaviors (YES! Behaviors are trackable!)

Ebbs and flows happen in motivation, I get that. When a client is struggling with consistency, we take a step back and look at what is working well, and work on building from their strengths. Instead of focusing so intently on the “failures” or what didn’t work, the pieces fit together a bit better when we build on successes and those bright spots. Each challenge is a new opportunity to support, guide, and connect more with my clients.
