My Story

Amanda Swanson
Holistic Wellness Coach & Yoga Teacher
My wellness journey began in 2012 with weightlifting, where I first fell in love with the powerful rush of endorphins and the strength of the human body. In 2014, I discovered yoga through a teacher training program—and, being an “all in” kind of person, I dove deep, earning my certification and transforming not just my career but my life.
Since then, my path has blended fitness, holistic health, and family in beautiful ways. I became a NETA Wellness Coach in 2015 and a certified personal trainer by 2016, all while teaching yoga and growing my family. Motherhood, homebirths, and continuing education in fitness nutrition, prenatal/postnatal corrective exercise, and Kundalini yoga have deepened my understanding of the body’s unique journey through life.
In 2019, I took the leap to build my own business focused on personalized wellness coaching, combining my certifications and life experience to help clients heal, strengthen, and thrive. Today, I teach a variety of classes at RiverWell Movement, including co-teaching Restorative/Yin Yoga and Tibetan Singing Bowls with Falina Stammer. I also offer personal training, mindfulness workshops & seminars, and nutrition groups.
I believe every body is a unique puzzle, and I’m passionate about guiding each person to find their own holistic path to wellness—because health is more than exercise; it’s about healing, balance, and living fully.
