Pranayama

Pranayama

is the conscious regulation of breath to influence the flow of prana — the vital life energy — throughout the body and mind.

It’s considered one of the eight limbs of yoga as outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, and serves as a bridge between the external physical practices (like asana) and the internal, meditative limbs (like dharana and dhyana).

Some benefits:

  • Lowers blood pressure and heart rate

  • Enhances lung capacity and oxygen efficiency

  • Improves digestion and metabolic balance

  • Reduces anxiety, depression, and brain fog

  • Increases mental clarity, focus, and resilience

  • Enhances emotional regulation and mindfulness

  • Awakens and directs prana

  • Supports Kundalini awakening and spiritual growth

  • Prepares the subtle body for meditation and inner stillness

Breathe with intention, calm your mind, and center your spirit.
