Pranayama
Pranayama
is the conscious regulation of breath to influence the flow of prana — the vital life energy — throughout the body and mind.
It’s considered one of the eight limbs of yoga as outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, and serves as a bridge between the external physical practices (like asana) and the internal, meditative limbs (like dharana and dhyana).
